Cool.  I've been busy too; I emailed Jim a patch against vanilla
Vim-cvs that took his changes and back-ported them into autoconf, so
you can just configure Vim via "./configure --enable-eclinterp" or
whatever.

I like the Slime -> Ooze rename.  Personally, I'd prefer "mire", which
would stand for "MIRE Isn't Requiring Emacs".  ;)
