[slim-vim] slim-vim + motif gui problems

Hi, before saying anything I want to thank you for your work and for your
effortsto make Vim, the best editor, usable with lisp. Great work.
Though, I'm having some problems with the motif gui.
When I'm writing a form, say (+ 1 2), it doesn't display the function
arguments in the modeline, it displays the function called by slim vim to
fetch the arguments list instead.
Also it doesn't display the result (in the modeline area nor in the slim-vim
buffers) when I evaluate it with <leader>-x, it displays the function called
by slim-vim to evaluate the form instead.
It works well with the gtk2 version, but if possible I'd like to use the
motif version because it doesn't have the the "gray area under the modeline"
broken behavior under ion3.

Is there a way to do interactive input with slim vim? I mean like evaluating
a (read) form and giving input to it. Maybe it's the same thing but... Is
there an hope to have an interactive toplevel someday?

I have also a (stupid) question, what is the --lisp-repl-output-- buffer
supposed to do? Or to show.. (Sorry for my english, it's not my native
language, i hope you can understand me).

Thanks and go on!
