It certainly make sense, and i usually work that way (all in one buffer)
when writing new code, and when it kind of works, i may put newly-created
functions in the files where they belong. But when i modify my existing
code, i don't feel the need to see it all at once. Good source code
navigation usually suffice: "what this function returns ?" - jump to it,
view, jump back. But of course, i don't wrote very much lisp code yet.
As i understand, you propose adding a level of indirection for
code-modifying. I think, this unnecessary complicates things. Of course,
this is only my own opinion.
