[slim-vim] Critical features before you'd use Slim-vim

My cygwin behaves like it did after I did a make on ecl and then on
vim. It starts and ends without any editor appearing. I'll reinstall
cygwin and see if it's the same on this computer. I was looking for
someone to build it natively. To get the graphical editor in cygwin,
I'd have to start cygwin-x and it's a little messy. The clipboard
sometimes misbehaves between cygwin-x and windows, too.
On windows I've been using clisp. To get vim to interact with clisp I
have tried some of the plugins that us perl-expect but my C++
development environment (lack thereof, that is) isn't up to bringing
down the module from CPAN. Now I'm using plain shell commands from vim
to get output and the lisp, ai, and sm options to get it to help me
format a little.
Thanks,
Brian
