[slim-vim] Network callback status?

Hi Brad,
Good work on getting Bram interested in the callbacks. Hopefully he
will understand that what is there is only half of the job - for the
tidy up to be completed other parts of Vim (e.g. netbeans) that need
callbacks should be ported to this new API, and any additional platform
support they have should be incorporated.
The code is already licensed under the Vim licence so I have already
given it away but thanks for checking.
