I use Emacs and psgml/xxml modes, docbook-xml DTDs, XSLT and CSS
stylesheet editing with Emacs, onsgmls for validation, and on Debian,
the xmlto toolchain to convert to XHTML 1.0 Strict and PDF. I haven't
worried too much about PDF or PostScript output yet, since I have
concentrated mainly on XHTML output.
Cheers,

matters into one's own hands spreads its evil tentacles.
