[Gardeners] CL Gardeners: good news, bad news, how to win big

FWIW, my two cents:

- The Gardeners project I'm most interested in is FreeSpec
(http://wiki.alu.org/Project_FreeSpec).  Unfortunately this is also
the project that I have the least ability to contribute to - I
certainly don't have any influence over any of the dpANS authors. 
Nevertheless, if there is some way that I can contribute that I've
missed, I'd be glad to know about it.  I might even be able to donate
a little (and I mean a *little*) cash if someone can figure out a good
way to spend it - perhaps some form of marketing to spread knowledge
about the project?
