Yes. Unfortunate but true. It's amazing how much spam comes in to a  
public list like this. And since most of it comes from hijacked email  
addresses, it seems like it'd be adding to the problem to send bounce  
messages. I figure subscribers will notice if their messages don't go  
through, as you did.
