[cl-faq] Publicly releasing the CL FAQ: still a good idea

Since you bring it up, I guess I might as well let everyone here  
know--I'm going to be handing off the FAQ to someone else: I've got a  
baby due this month and after that I'm planning to be doing some non- 
computer related writing. I've asked Larry Clapp if he'd be  
interested in taking over the project and encouraged him to follow  
your idea--put it up on c-l.net or Google projects or whatever and  
figure out a light weight process for letting other folks contribute  
and edit it. He also suggested that you might be a good person to do  
this--if you're interested I can send you a tar of the current FAQ  
source files and code for generating the HTML versions and you can  
put it up somewhere and coordinate the effort. Though you should  
probably get in touch with Larry as I already sent him the tar and he  
may be doing something with it as we speak.

I hope to get the project cleanly handed off and then I and the new  
maintainer can announce the transition on the main Gardeners list.
