I read both cl-faq and cl-gardeners via gmane. Does gmane do any spam
filtering? (If not, I'll switch back to getting mail. I use
spamcop.net for mail filtering; it works well enough for me in most
cases.)
What about the mailing list archive at
http://www.lispniks.com/pipermail/cl-faq? It'd have the spam, too,
wouldn't it? Ick.
Maybe you could close the list, add a trailer to each message along
the lines of "If you are not subscribed please send FAQ submissions to
cl-faq-submissions at lispniks.com", and also include that in the
message that mailman sends when it bounces submissions from
non-subscribers.
